ImageNet Consulting is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Starting from humble beginnings as a Marine, champion boxer, and entrepreneur, Bobby Roberson founded an incredible Business Technology Company. This company is in its 3rd generation of family ownership, starting as a typewriter repair service that has evolved into a healthy, growing technology solutions company. Bobby would not have believed what an amazing company Southwest Typewriter would become after 70 years in business.
I carry the great honor of running ImageNet Consulting. I have been mentored by my father-in-law, Tom Russell, for the 20 years I’ve been employed by the company. Tom Russell is the most incredible businessman I know. Always approaching all business decisions with creative ideas and ways to solve business decisions in the simplest way. I was also mentored by Pat Russell during his time as CEO. Pat and I had great opportunities to grow ImageNet through major economic headwinds and very uneasy times. Pat and I remain close to this day, and he is always available to step in and help. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur while growing up. I am never upset about not starting my own business because I have the chance to continue to build on a legacy I love to be part of. My journey with ImageNet has taught me, and continues to teach me, about how to lead and grow a business. While I am relatively new to this position, I am honored to take on the challenge and lead the company into the future.
2025 was a great year for ImageNet as we continued to see revenue growth and healthy profits. Each sales offering is performing well and continues to find new opportunities to grow the business. The long-term vision for ImageNet is to continue improving all offerings while adding new revenue streams as technology advances. AI & Robotics offerings will continue to shape the company's future. Technology is changing daily and faster than ever. If we don’t embrace the opportunity to challenge ourselves by becoming experts in innovative technology fields, we will eventually fall behind. In the next 10 years, I expect ImageNet to surpass revenue expectations as it continues on its path to becoming one of the best business tech companies.
ImageNet employs over 550 employees. Starting as a service company, ImageNet’s strongest asset is providing the best possible service to our customer base. Management strongly believes in the value of providing excellent service to support the company's future growth and success. Without our incredible employees, we wouldn’t have ever been able to achieve 70 years in business. The ImageNet family has an incredible group of employees who should take pride in the business's success. ImageNet wouldn’t be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of all the incredible people who have helped build it to where it is today.
